For over 10 years, Prime Valve Supply has been engineering and manufacturing precision industrial valves from our facility in Bakersfield, California. We serve the Oil & Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemical, and Refining industries across the United States and worldwide.
We are a direct manufacturer — every valve we deliver is engineered and built in-house to your specification, tested to API and ASME standards, and shipped directly from our facility. No middlemen, no markups, no compromises on quality.

Our Manufacturing Process
Every Prime Valve Supply valve passes through a disciplined, documented manufacturing process — from initial technical review through final pressure testing and certified delivery. There are no shortcuts and no exceptions.
Every order begins with a thorough engineering review. Our team examines your valve specification — pressure class, material grade, end connection standard, temperature range, fluid service, and any special requirements such as NACE compliance, fire-safe certification, or cryogenic service. We confirm the correct valve design, body material, trim selection, and testing protocol before a single component is manufactured. If we identify a potential specification issue, we flag it and work with your team to resolve it — proactively, before it becomes a problem in the field.
Valves are manufactured through controlled production processes — forging, casting, precision CNC machining, surface treatment, and assembly — all carried out under strict quality control procedures. Every material used in a Prime Valve Supply valve carries a full Mill Test Report (MTR) certified to the applicable ASTM or equivalent material standard. Dimensional inspections are performed at each stage of manufacture against approved drawings. Assembly is conducted by trained technicians following documented procedures, with hold points at critical stages for in-process inspection. All manufacturing records are retained and provided with the completed valve documentation package.
No valve leaves our facility without passing the full test programme mandated by the applicable standard. This includes a hydrostatic shell test at 1.5 times the rated working pressure to verify pressure envelope integrity, a high-pressure seat test at rated pressure to confirm zero seat leakage, and a low-pressure air seat test per API requirements. Test results are recorded on a factory acceptance test (FAT) certificate signed by our Quality Control department. Third-party inspection and witness testing by your nominated inspection authority (TPI) is available on request at no additional lead time impact. After testing, valves are preserved, marked, and packaged to prevent transit damage, with all documentation — MTRs, test certificates, dimensional records — assembled in a final data book.
